Living in Mexico and South Africa opened my eyes to the number of talented students that cannot attend University because of their family’s financial background. In developing countries, the ROI of a University degree is much higher than in developed countries. New graduates can earn upwards of 8x more than workers without a degree. We saw a huge opportunity for change, for growth, and for investment. What if instead of limiting these young students’ futures because of their family financial status, we provide investors with the opportunity to back the engineers, doctors and scientists of the future?
