The Gobl restaurant platform is a proposed network of technologies which will enable customers of restaurants to view menus, place, track, manage and pay for orders through their personal smartphone at the table. The current state of the restaurant point of sale industry has nothing comparable in the market and is only just seeing a migration to adopting tablet based ordering solutions. Both a restaurant’s owners and the customers of the restaurant are provided with benefits over current market technologies and there is currently nothing available in the market which is similar to the proposed design.
