Afterland, is a collectible card game about a carnival of lost souls performing magic in the afterlife. The characters were shaped by responding to an active community of over eleven thousand Facebook fans who have supported its development across a variety of channels. Art prints of hand painted characters have sold on Etsy and Fab.com and the growing community has also supported a successful Kickstarter campaign. The unique IP was recognized by the Casual Connect organization that named Imaginary Games cofounder Elin Jonsson as Female Developer of the year and featured Afterland on the front cover of their winter magazine. Gameplay is an iteration on a mobile collectible card game loop proven to appeal to core gamers. The game design builds on this loop, adding clarity and features that will bring the CCG genre to a dedicated community of fans who are attracted to macabre themes.
