LifeBooster is in the midst of creating MyoWear™, a wearable device similar to that of a light weight t-shirt that will be able to track specific body metrics, such as muscle stress, breathing intensity, and heart rate. It will also have the ability to alert the worker when they are showing signs of muscle exhaustion, overexertion, or even improper posture. This smart personal protective equipment (PPE) will be customized for workers in the construction, mining, healthcare, and transportation industries. MyoWear™ will be used to prevent injuries, but also to speed up the recovery time of those whose injuries could not be prevented. By storing data of muscle movements and body metrics before, during, and after the time of injury, physicians will be able to accurately determine what exactly caused the injury. They will also be able to assign specific duties and activities that will aid in recovery, allowing the worker to get back to work quicker with a decreased risk of re-injury.
